Workers’ Compensation – Managed Risk or an Unnecessary Profit Leak?

1] At least 15 minutes before the session starts, connect with the presenter(s). Make sure the A/V equipment is working. If not, please contact show management at (973) 464-9505, which will send a tech to help. If the presenter has handouts, ask how they’d like them distributed. Ask the presenter that if attendees have questions, whether the presenter wants them saved to the end, or ask any time. Confirm with the presenter how they’d like to be introduced (a formal bio is below that you can use)

2] At the start time, please state the session title so attendees know they’re in the correct session. Then introduce yourself briefly.

3] Let attendees know they can download the useful conference MOBILE APP on their phones, either by going to the Apple App Store or to Google Play and search for Eastern Energy Expo. They will find lots of information there on the schedule, sessions, and vendors. Attendees can also provide valuable feedback on this session by completing the SESSION EVALUATION on the mobile app. They will need to search for the specific session in the mobile app and select the “Rate This Session” button.

4] Social Events: If your session is on Monday, please remind attendees there will be a Hospitality Night, Monday 6 – 9 PM. Look for signs. If your session is on Tuesday or Wednesday, please remind attendees that the tradeshow opens at noon on Tuesday, and there will be a complimentary reception in the trade show halls at 4:30. The tradeshow opens again on Wednesday at 10 AM.

Patrick Donahue started with Federated Insurance as a Field Services Development Trainee in June 2004 when he assumed the Risk Consultant responsibilities for Federated Insurance in Central and South Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Southern New Jersey. In January 2008, Patrick was promoted to the position of Regional Risk Manager in the Northeast Region for Federated Insurance. During his time at Federated, Patrick has obtained the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) Designation, Associate in Management (AIM) Designation, and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) Designation.
