CAH - NBB Event

Description: #712-451-0894 Conference Code #293095

At this point we have 50% of those invited interested in attending our very important gathering between the National Biodiesel Board’s leadership and the heating oil industry leadership. I am proceeding to plan accordingly and hope that the balance of those whom have yet committed do so soon. Donnell, Shelby and I will be anxious to meet with the group with the intentions of determining our collective strategy to advance the quest to higher and higher blends to meet policy directives that all agreed have and will continue to impact our industry’s success. If you have any questions please do not hesitate calling me. I am on the road today back in my office W-F. The event will unfold as defined below, but as a reminder here we go,

Good afternoon,

Thank you for spending time with me today to cover off on Bioheat® market development and for helping broaden the discussion to get New England and Mid-Atlantic on a fast track to higher blends of biodiesel. While we were on line John Huber and Donnell Rehagen were conferencing discussing similar pathways. During our debrief a few moments ago it became clear that both sides are very interested in joining together to identify the options available to move biodiesel into the mainstream through policy directives versus hoping for the best. The time seems right for such a discussion, Donnell, Shelby and I will be in Boston on the 14th and 15th of May hosting NBB members and we felt the most expeditious way to get us together so not to compete against EEE and NEFI June events was to capitalize on Donnell and Shelby’s presence in Massachusetts on those specific days.

We have the framework of our discussions in mind and will share with you that proposed agenda once we determine if we can get a quorum in place to start this very important discussion. We are thinking we would convene at the Lenox Hotel on Exeter Street and start promptly at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, break a 6:00 p.m., followed by a network reception and dinner, all TBD where. Then start promptly at 8:00 a.m. Thursday the 15th and work through additional elements of interest until noon. This is our first attempt of fitting sixteen calendars into one box. If we have a good response we go with it, if not, we will start the process of picking optional dates. The sooner you can respond the better we will be positioned to figure it all out.

Thanks again,
Paul
